Farewell Tribute to "Are You Being Served?"

Breaking News: As of September 12, 2013, the owners of the broadcast rights for Are You Being Served? have come to their senses and agreed to license PBS stations again.

So, we're back to our regular schedule... the staff at Grace Brothers will tickle your knickers for the foreseeable future Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m.

We're going forward with the mini-marathon...

On Tuesday, September 17, WSBE Rhode Island PBS will pay farewell tribute to Are You Being Served? We've cleared our regular schedule that night to air a mini-marathon of eight memorable episodes (thank you, fans, for your suggestions!)

  7:00 p.m. #102 Dear Sexy Knickers
  7:30 p.m. #114 Up, Captain Peacock
  8:00 p.m. #117 German Week
  8:30 p.m. #128 Founder's Day
  9:00 p.m. #134 The Club
9:30 p.m. #155 Memories Are Made of This
10:00 p.m. #159 Goodbye, Mrs. Slocombe
10:30 p.m. #165 The Pop Star

We're still in the process of collecting and tallying our Brit Club member votes for the show that replaces Are You Being Served? in its regular Monday through Friday at 7:30 p.m. time slot. Contenders are Waiting for God, Last of the Summer Wine, and As Time Goes By. Preliminary results show As Time Goes By is in the solid lead. Stay tuned.
