As a child, you loved us. Now, as a parent, you trust us, too. We've been a part of the lives and traditions of southern New England families for generations - since 1967.
From Mister Rogers Neighborhood to Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood, our award-winning children's shows have evolved and changed to always meet children's needs for age-appropriate and effective enrichment that sparks young imaginations.
For adults, our award-winning drama, music and dance content touches hearts and challenges perspectives. And our commitment to local content brings to life the Rhode Island stories, music, and politics that make living here such an adventure.
Tuesday, December 1, is #GivingTuesday - a new "tradition" started in 2012 to mark the beginning of the charitable gift giving season.
Powered by social media and fueled by collaboration world-wide, #GivingTuesday is observed on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving, and the widely publicized consumer events known as Black Friday and Cyber Monday. #GivingTuesday generates high-level positive energy and excitement, encouraging all donors to make their holiday and year-end giving on the same day. We're excited to participate and invite you to do the same.
All year long, Rhode Island PBS gratefully welcomes donations of any amount. Thank you gifts are also available for gifts of various levels.
