Rhode Island Archive Project
On Sunday, October 19, Rhode Island PBS presents the first film in the RI ART ARCHIVE PROJECT at 6 p.m. as part of our ongoing series Rhode Island Stories.
The RI ART ARCHIVE PROJECT extends the conversation of the Rhode Island arts community to integrate different perspectives and documents the state’s cultural importance with preservation through speaking with its visual artists, curators, gallery owners, art historians and collectors.
The RI ART ARHIVE PROJECT explores what draws artists to Rhode Island, why they stay, and how Rhode Island’s art institutions stay topical to artists and the community.
The presentation also includes a preview of the FILM 2, featuring female artists in Rhode Island.
